摘要
Our understanding of the origin of birds has advanced greatly with the discovery during the last decade of many new fossils. What we mean by "bird" has evolved in a corollary fashion, and this paper examines some of the challenges in defining this term, with particular reference to feathered dinosaurs recently found in China.
