摘要：
The article determines the essence of norming from the viewpoint of the contemporary economics and offers a new approach to economic norms and standards, their interrelation is highlighted. Basing on the retrospective analysis, the significance of such approach for awareness and management of the economic processes is grounded. Application of the norming theory in enterprise management is considered.
