Research on Application Technology of Construction Project Information Management in China

By the era of knowledge economy, the value of information has been playing an extremely important role in the process of market prosperity. Effective management for information resource, is not only the necessary means for a modern enterprise to survive and develop, but also is the preference of national economy for sustainable, rapid growth. It has become an inevitable trend to use modern information technology to improve the project management methods. According to the present situation of construction project management based on information technology in national construction enterprises, the design for project informatin management system by the use of PIP technology has been mentioned. As the core of the SPS software development, PIP technology is quite proper to set up information management platform for collaboration, which is in line with characteristics of project information management. It's aimed to improve domestic construction industry informationization from the point of PIM and enhance competitiveness as well as enterprises' production efficiency.
