Green's function useful for the analysis of planar structures on multilayered dielectric in cylindrical enclosure

摘要：
Green's function for a point charge located inside the multilayered dielectric medium in cylindrical enclosure is derived in a convenient form. The starting inhomogeneous three-dimensional differential equation in cylindrical coordinates is transformed to one-dimensional one by applying the variable separation method and orthogonality relations. Final solution is obtained by using the equivalence with a multistep transmission line.
