On the search for unstable periodic solutions of nonlinear dynamical systems

摘要：

We propose a new numerical method for finding unstable periodic solutions of nonlinear autonomous dynamical systems by a replacement of the evolutionary problem with a boundary value one. The latter problem corresponds to the minimization of a residual functional of the original equations subjected to the given boundary conditions.
