摘要：
Traditionally the majority of titanium used in the USA has been in aerospace applications. However, after "peace broke out" in the world there has been a move to expand non-aerospace use of titanium and its alloys. A brief update of titanium applications and processing today, and recent developments and future processing considerations will be discussed, with an emphasis on approaches for reducing the cost of titanium components.
