摘要
Social media and Knowledge Integration (KI) are consider as complement each other. Based on these complement, there are a lot knowledge can be gain and manage by Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Social media is mechanism which can help SMEs integrate the knowledge. However, KI initiative of social media has been lacking of model. Furthermore, factors influencing the initiative to the SMEs performance and innovation ought to be revealed since there is limited research has been carried out. Therefore, this paper is to propose a conceptual model for KI through social media initiative in SMEs especially Malaysia which eventually improve the organization performance, decision making and innovation. Qualitative approach is adopted by means of reviewing the literature in the area. The technology, organization and environmental framework (TOE) is adopt in propose the conceptual model. By introducing this model, it can be used by researchers for KI issues and hypothesis generation, or by practitioners for benchmarking KI and social media practices.
