摘要
In this paper we present some findings regarding the possibility of changing teachers' teaching when they innovate in the use of statistics while participating in a program called EarlyStatistics, aimed at the promoting the integration of the teaching and learning of statistical reasoning in the schools. The program is based on the analysis of activities organized into scenarios, where the teacher must evaluate the statistical concepts introduced, different proposals for intervention in the class-room, students' answers to the activities proposed, and students' self-assessment of their own learning using the scenario. To analyze the activities developed in the scenarios, the evaluation strategy used is a SWOT matrix (Strengths/Weakness/Opportunities/Threats), as a way of promoting students' learning and developing statistical competences.
