M-COL Process is improved coal preparation technology which can achieve high de-ashing and pyritic sulfur removal for low grade coal by lower cost. The M-COL process improve flotability and selectivity of fine coal through the alteration of coal surface property. Therefore, by applying the M-COL process to low flotability fine coal, a significant enhancement of recovery rate of fine clean coal also can be achieved. In this presentation, the advantage and rough F.S. by applying the M-COL process to low grade Chinese coal is introduced on the basis of verification test results using several Chinese coal samples.
