Under the background of the network times, the trend of higher educational informatization has been gradually deepened in the teaching mode of higher education institutions, especially in the college English teaching mode. In this context, it is necessary to apply "Flipped Classroom" concept widely in the college English education, so as to improve the overall quality of college English teaching and college students' English communication ability and learning efficiency. This paper first studies the origin and definition of flipping classroom, then expounds the feasibility of flipped classroom guiding college English teaching and its significance and puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions, in order to provide reference for colleges in our country to carry out college English flipped classroom practice.
