摘要
A simulation study of the methane combustion in fluidized bed reactors is resented. The process description, based on the "two-phase" model, accounts for the influences of internal and external mass transfer around the catalyst grain on the process kinetics. The computations evidenced important effects of the internal and external diffusion on the catalytic reaction kinetics, whereas the influences of internal and external temperature gradients appeared to be insignificant. Both adiabatic and non-adiabatic operating regimes were considered.
