摘要：
The paper deals with an available potential of renewable energy sources from the different points of views. It analyzes different approaches in increasing share of renewable energy sources, and also evaluates current energy policy with direction to state support of renewable energy, mainly in European countries and the United States. The paper analyses the present stage of renewable energy's utilization and opportunities of their future progress.
