摘要
The paper presents a short overview of existing methods for diagnostics of gas turbine engine (GTE). There are noticed some perspective directions and given guidelines for future investigation in GTE diagnostics by means of bearing units vibro-acoustic analysis. The frequency and/or amplitude analysis are expected to provide enough information to define the cause of the fault and abnormal behavior of the complex object under investigation with comparable or higher sensitivity and/or resolving power than existing methods.
