Continuous-wave laser performance of composite Nd:LuVO4 crystals

摘要
We report diode pumped continuous-wave (CW) laser performance achieved with two types of composite Nd: LuVO4 crystals operating at 1.06 mu m. The maximum output power of 17.2 W was obtained with an optical conversion efficiency of 47.3% with respect to the incident pump power of 36.4 W, and the corresponding slope efficiency was 48.0%. To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest CW output power obtained in Nd: LuVO4 crystal. (C) 2011 by Astro Ltd. Published exclusively by WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA
