摘要
The paper before you will address design of products from several aspects. First of all the modern market and its development will be discussed as the starting point of the paper. Product platforms and product families are presented in second part of the paper. Design and development of products in traditional and modular way are analyzed in third part of paper followed by discussion about modular based design in fourth part. Advantages of product platform, product family and modular design are given in the conclusions or the paper.
