摘要
Universities and various institutes from all over the world have numerous public administration (PA) education programmes. The Czech Republic is one of the significant Central European countries where PA education is concerned. The field of PA education is evaluated on the case of the University of Pardubice, which offers educational programmes related to PA. The analysis is performed based on a statistical evaluation of students' interest over a span of 16 years. The research uses trend analysis when the interest in studying at the University of Pardubice is supplemented by comparison with the situation at similar universities in the Czech Republic. The conclusion of the study offers suggestions on the possibilities of supporting education in the Czech Republic. On the other hand, more consistent supervision from the state seems appropriate, but also support for a family policy aimed at reconciling professional and family life is necessary.
