摘要
Today's manufacturing industries are forced to work under dynamic and uncertain environment which makes the supply chain vulnerable to risk. Also, the stake holders are becoming aware of world's environmental problems. So, the supply chain must be made sustainable to protect environment and to reduce the impact of risk. This research aims to empirically investigate the impact of sustainability on supply chain risks in manufacturing industries. A survey instrument was designed to collect the response from 300 manufacturing industries. The collected data was checked for reliability, content validity and convergent validity using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and analysed by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure) software. The results obtained shows that sustainability practices in the supply chain have a positive impact on supply chain risk like environmental risks, demand risks, etc. and thus supported the hypothesis.
