摘要
This paper presents a novel zero-voltage-switching approach for predictive boundary conduction mode PFC converter for LED lighting. In the proposed method, instead of being detected by a sensing circuit, the switching off-time for achieving zero-voltage-switching is determined by analytical equations of PFC converter. Therefore, the efficiency reduction caused by sensing circuit can be eliminated and the switching losses of MOSFET can be minimized. Experimental results demonstrate that the efficiency is indeed improved.
