摘要
Five years ago, the teacher training in Berlin was transformed by splitting the task of a central agency onto regional administrations. The aim was to meet regional demand better. The author is responsible for the teacher training in a region of Berlin. In this context, new questions arise for a teacher trainer with respect to the design of the training. The central quest for a qualification effective for a long time is answered by implementing a rising number of professional learning communities (PLCs) in the schools. With this changed professional cooperation in schools aimed at developing, teaching methods have to be changed, as well as the inside school organisation, and also the training formats offered. Here, the required new competences of teacher trainers for initiating and accompanying PLCs are named and further steps for implementing this kind of work form in the staff of teacher trainers are identified. Finally an example for introducing PLCs in Berlin (Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg) is given with the focus on the task of the regional administration for teacher training.
