摘要
Information and communication technologies bring several benefits to organizations, but on the other hand, may generate health problems to professionals. Internet addiction and technostress are also another problems associated with excessive use of these resources. On the other hand, organizational leaders can also influence perceived work stress among their subordinates. This study explored the effects of leadership styles and Internet addiction on technostress. Using structural equations modeling and data of 379 information technology users, our results indicate that leadership styles positively influence the technostress and the laissez-faire leadership style promotes, with greater intensity, such displeasure to the workers. Also, the effects from Internet addiction on technostress may vary according to leadership styles.
