Moving Prevention of Falls

To prevent falls a number of different exercises from the areas of flexibility, coordination training, strength training, task-related strength training and playful practice in fall prevention groups have been suggested. Exercises encompassing locomotor tasks on the one hand and executing cognitive tasks on the other are particularly relevant for speech therapists conducting a hearing training with difficult patients. This article showcases 3 exercises from Jansen-berger's exercise program "moving fall prevention" and gives suggestion for further exercises.
