摘要
Once the UHV transmission lines were put into operation, it is hard to repair at outage. The live working is the forceful guarantee for the security and stability of operation of the UHV transmission lines. The length of the UHV strain insulator string achieves about 12.5 m and the distance between the adjacent strings achieves about 1.0 m. As entering the strong electric field along the UHV strain insulator strings by the traditional method would consume the live worker's strength excessively, it is difficult to complete the tasks safely and effectively. Aiming at the above problems, the vertical method of entering the electric field along the UHV strain insulator strings is put forward and the corresponding tools are developed in this paper. In the meantime, the electric field results are calculated by the finite method and so the safety protection measures of the equipotential live worker are came up. It is shown by the field application that entering the strong electric field along the strain insulator strings and the task can be accomplished successfully by the vertical method and the safety protection measures put forward in this paper, which provides reference for the method of entering the electric field on the following live work on the transmission lines.
