Electrical and magnetic properties of the rapidly quenched Ni2.16Mn0.84Ga alloy with the shape-memory effect

摘要
Investigations of kinetic (electrical resistivity, macynetoresistance, and thermopower) and magnetic properties of a rapidly quenched alloy Ni2.16Mn0.84Ga have been carried out. A si--Inificant change in the energyband structure of the alloy during martensitic transformation has been detected. At the same time, no electron spectrum changes near the Fermi level have been observed at the Curie temperature. Ferro- and antiferromagnetic interactions have been shown to coexist in the martensitic phase of the alloy.
