摘要
Giant magnetoresistance (GMR) has been observed in the electrodeposited, granular thin film alloys Cu1-xCox. For a value of x = 0.20, an 'as-deposited' sample exhibits a GMR ratio of 5%. After annealing at 600 degrees C this increases to 10%. Corresponding measurements of the magnetization are also reported and are interpreted on the basis of superparamagnetism.
