Precise positioning control using gain scheduling nonlinear control

摘要
A new control scheme in which nonlinear control and gain scheduling control are united is proposed for a precise positioning control. Solid friction disturbance has serious effects on precise positioning control. The control gains were varied depending on the positioning error in order to compensate for the solid friction effect. The coefficient matrices of the controlled system were changed based on a function previously defined in order to change the control gains. The control gains were increased when the positioning error was decreased. Faster response and smaller positioning error were obtained by using the proposed control scheme.
