摘要：
We present the Current status of the BTeV pixel detector. The BTeV pixel detector will consist of 23 million pixel elements housed within the vacuum system of the Fermilab Tevatron within 6 mm of the beams, retracting to > 20 mm during beam injection. The pixel detector will operate in a 1.6 T dipole field, providing vertex, tracking and modest stand-alone momentum measurements to the level I trigger system. We focus on the unique mechanical, thermal and vacuum issues related to this detector system. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
