摘要
A Brillouin grating-based optical low coherence reflectometer (OLCR) using a broadband light source is constructed. The reflection distributions of Brillouin gratings generated at mated fibre connectors are measured. The measured reflectograms agreed with theoretical curves calculated from the coherence function of the OLCR, showing that the OLCR technique made it possible to measure Brillouin gratings with a spatial resolution of the order of 100 mu m.
