摘要：
This paper points out the advantages of open-loop fiber optical gyros in inertial measurement systems with medium accuracy. The principle operation of the optical block of the gyro and a cost-efficient gyro electronics are described, optimised also for high production rates. An overview to a very modular concept is given also realising custom specific inertial measurement systems with nearly arbitrary kinds of sensors with comparatively tow development cost and production cost.
