In this paper, we discuss asymptotic relations for the approximation of vertical bar x vertical bar(alpha), alpha > 0 in L-infinity [-1, 1] by Lagrange interpolation polynomials based on the zeros of the Chebyshev polynomials of first kind. (C) 2012 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
