摘要：
Northern Telecom (Nortel), a global telecommunications firm based in Dallas, TX, provides product training to over 20,000 students a year using conventional computer-based training. In 1995 they wanted to change existing methodology to include 1) on-demand training 2) product and skill specific training 3) have the program ready by a specific date and 4) be cost effective. They chose to use virtual reality software for delivering the cost-effective, measurable program.
