摘要：
This year, the American Society of Microbiology (ASM) joined together its Annual General Meeting with its annual Interscience Congress on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC), to form ASM Microbe 2016. The joint meeting aimed to bring together all specialties relating to microbiology and microbiological sciences, covering both basic and clinical research. The meeting consisted of both poster and oral sessions, allowing attendees from both industry and academia to share their ongoing research into microbiology. This report will highlight some of the presentations relating to upcoming treatments in preclinical and clinical stage of development.
