The Construction of a Dynamic English Speech Corpus of Jianghuai Mandarin Learners

Jianghuai mandarin is a transitional dialect at the junction of northern and southern dialects in China. Discussion in this paper shows that the construction of a dynamic English speech corpus of Jianghuai mandarin learners is greatly necessary and significant, which needs a comprehensive consideration of the classification of its dialectal regions, the selection of participants, the design of English speech, the collection and classification of linguistic data and the annotation of collected phonetic data. Some well-constructed English speech corpora were referred to for their construction designs and processes.
