CONSIDERATIONS ON THE USE OF EUROPEAN FUNDS BY FRANCE IN 2007-2013 PERIOD

The study aims to examine how France has used EU funds in 2007-2013. France was one of the main beneficiaries of financial resources from EU structural funds. In our approach we analyze the priorities of cohesion policy, for 2007-2013, but also projects that the French government has used EU funds. In the period 2007-13, France will benefit from European regional aid of more than 14 billion of the 347 billion for cohesion policy. Most funds will be aimed at achieving the objectives of the Lisbon strategy. France, like other EU countries have experienced some difficulties in attracting and managing European funds, studies have shown that even the French are levels of European fund requires better management to make better use of European resources. We propose that in our study to present models of good practice from the French in European funds and creating strategies for better valorisation o these funding sources.
