摘要
A wideband low-profile quasi-Yagi antenna operating above a metal surface is presented in this paper. The design approach combines a printed double-element quasi-Yagi antenna and an Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) reflector, which can eliminate the negative effect of the metal on the antenna performance, such as impedance mismatch and low radiation efficiency. To verify the design, a prototype of the antenna is fabricated and the performance of the antenna, such as reflection coefficient and radiation pattern, are studied.
