摘要
Mission profiles of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM) drive systems, are becoming increasingly complicated in emerging applications such as wind power generation and electric vehicles. Comprehensive and long-term tests and analysis of the converter systems are getting crucial. In these tests, various configurations need to be taken into account including machine parameters, load torque profiles and control algorithms, etc. Therefore, a mission profile emulator for PMSM drive system, which can flexibly adjust the configurations, is proposed based on single-phase H-bridge circuit. The emulator is designed to generate similar electrical and mechanical behaviors as one phase of a three-phase PMSM drive system both statically and dynamically, without using real mechanical loads. As a single-phase system, the emulator can reduce the number of employed power electronic devices, enable statistical analysis of tests and finally save the testing efforts. The principle, design and implementation are illustrated with PLECS simulation and some basic experimental results, while further validations are still need to be implemented to validate the scheme more convincingly.
