摘要
Early-stage cancer detection is very important in providing better treatment facilities to patients. Cancer means abnormal cell growth or mutation in normal gene sequence inside human body. In this paper, several human cancerous and non-cancerous amino acid sequences are analyzed to detect the abnormalities by investigating the electrical characteristics of LabVIEW-based electrical model. The proposed model is designed using SSM (serial signal multiplication) method, based on the HI (Hydropathy Index) value of each amino acid. The performance of the proposed model is experimented on various kinds of cancerous genes and illustrates the superiority in comparison to existing methods by achieving 91.21% of classification accuracy, 83% sensitivity along with 87.5% of precision.
