摘要：
The power industry is facing several transformations. Competition, open access, and the break-up of the traditional vertically integrated utility structure will result in a radically different industry. Therefore, there is a prevailing need for tools to understand, predict and even design electricity markets. In this context simulation can be a very important and useful technique. In this paper we present a simulation tool to study negotiations in electricity spot markets based on different market mechanisms and behaviour strategies.
