摘要
Seepage problems in embankment dams have received wide attention, but determining seepage channel position is difficult because methods such as water level observation are unable to ascertain channel position under many situations. Considering the differences between low temperature characteristics of deep reservoir water and the relatively high temperature characteristics of strata, reducing temperature by using ice was adopted to simulate a reservoir water in winter, or a deep reservoir water. By establishing an indoor dam model and temperature sensor test system buried within the dam, we studied the correlation between dam temperature field and seepage under low temperature water, established a dam seepage detection model in low temperature field, and verified the feasibility of the low temperature water seepage model in tests of three types of dams, namely, homogeneous dam, core wall dam, and concrete-face rock-fill dam.
