摘要
Video transmission is one of the many applications that are supported by the evolving technology of Next Generation Networks (NGNs). However, secure video transmission is known to be one of the most challenging tasks to manage in NGNs. Majority of the currently existing infrastructures were not built to effectively handle this cumbersome task which involves unpredictable daily increasing video traffic. Upgrading the currently existing infrastructures may cost twice as much as the initial implementation. Hence a better approach for handling video transmission securely is needed while delivering improved Quality of Service (QOS), Quality of Experience (QOE) and also maintaining a fast reliable network. In this paper, we present a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based approach for effectively securing video transmission in NGNs.
