摘要
The screw dislocation interacting with a nanoscale cylindrical inclusion in an elastic half-plane is analyzed. The boundary condition at the interface between the inclusion and the matrix is modified by incorporating surface/interface stress. The explicit expression of the image force acting on the screw dislocation is obtained. The mobility and the equilibrium positions of the dislocation near to the inclusion are discussed. The results indicate that the elastic interference of the screw dislocation and a nanoscale cylindrical inclusion is strongly influenced by the half-plane surface. Comparing with the solution of screw dislocation and nano-inclusion in the whole plane, we can observe that more equilibrium positions of the dislocation may be available and only exist at the y-axis. On the other hand, the image force exerted on the dislocation may be complex than in the whole plane case which dependent on the half-plane surface attracting the screw dislocation.
