摘要：
O'Neill, the chief economist of Goldman Sachs first proposed the concept of "BRIC" in The World Needs Better Economic BRICS. It has been ten years since "BRICS" came into public view. The original "BRIC" quoted the first letter of Brazil, Russia, India and China, so it is called "BRIC". The English words have changed into "BRICS" since South Africa joined in 2010. In this paper, we summarize the trade situation via the analysis of relevant data and research the internal and external competitiveness of "BRICS" through empirical analysis. On this account, we will have a further understanding of "BRICS" and continuously improve the integral strength of emerging countries and their international status.
