摘要
The vibration characteristics of a Ti-50.2at%Ni shape memory alloy stimulated by a vibrator with a frequency from 0 to 50 Hz have been investigated. When a constant load is applied, the resonance peak value increases with the increase of temperature and the damping capacity of the material decreases if R phase appears. While in the parent phase from which martensite phase may be induced, the resonance peak value decreases and the damping capacity is improved with the increase of temperature. When the temperature is kept constant, the resonance peak value is higher and the vibration isolation range is narrower while the material is subjected to a smaller constant load. With the increase of loading, the resonance peak value decreases and the vibration isolation range becomes wider. When the vibration frequency is in the range from 0 to 50 Hz, it is found that both the damping capacity and vibration isolation range of rhombohedral phase are weaker than that of the parent phase from which martensite phase can be induced. The best damping capacity and wider vibration isolation range will be obtained when the material is in the phase of stress induced martensite.
