摘要
In the present study of job motivation and the special problems and concerns of 70 German community service workers it was found that they saw in their work an opportunity to apply their own special talents, but that they were experiencing increasing disillusionment and a sense of being manipulated and used by their clients. The participants found the opportunity to discuss these issues very helpful and such topics should not be neglected in initial or in-service education.
