摘要
This paper deals with an impact of small nonlinear loads operation on accuracy of the intelligent metering system. The small nonlinear loads contain circuits with semiconductors and with the electronic converters (AC/DC). These devices feed harmonics of current to the distribution grid by their operation and it causes issues with accuracy of the intelligent measurement systems. Paper describes measurement of these small nonlinear loads characteristics using network power analyzer and the verification of the accuracy of the intelligent measurement system using a programmable source, which can generate harmonics of current according to the measurement. There are two groups of small nonlinear loads, which were measured. The first one is home appliances and the second group contains offices appliances.
