Effect of the fertilization in the initial growth of the moringa (Moringa oleifera Lam.)

摘要
The objective was to evaluate the effect of fertilization on the initial development of the moringa. Six treatments were evaluated: control (T0), urea at 15, 30 and 45 g.m(-2) (T1, T2 and T3), sheep manure (3 kg.m(-2)) (T4) and T1+T4 (T5), under a totally random experimental design with six repetitions. 45 days after sowing, development and yield variables were measured. Differences were found for plant height, number of leaves and nodes, fresh biomass and dry matter of the aerial part and radical system due to the effect of the treatments. T3 showed the maximum values. It is concluded that the urea at 45 g.m(-2) allowed greater development and yield of fresh biomass and dry matter.
