摘要
Dinh Vu Industrial Zone ( DVIZ) is founded in soft soil, which needs to be well improved. The soft soil at DVIZ consists of sandy silt, silty clay and sandy/silty clay with a total thickness of about 30.0 m. Improvement by PVD and pre-loading surcharge in a small area at DVIZ has brought a settlement of about 1.1 m. Based on the recorded settlement data, in this study an analysis of ground improved settlement was conducted, considering carefully the soil parameters. In addition, an overview of long-term settlement occurred at DVIZ from 1998 to 2013 was made.
