Study of magnetic and structural properties of Nd2Fe14B and Fe93.28Si6.72 alloys produced by mechanical alloying with surfactant

摘要
The powders of the Fe93.28Si6.72 soft magnetic system and the Nd2Fe14B hard magnetic system were mixed, pressed and finally sintered at 300, 400 and 500 degrees C. The powder chosen for the soft phase (Fe93.28Si6.72) used was the one milled with a surfactant for 48h and the hard phase powder was the original commercial powder without milling. The sintered samples were characterized by XRD, Mossbauer spectrometry and VSM. After this characterization, the sample with the best magnetic behavior, with a larger coercive field and saturation magnetization, was the one treated at 500 degrees C, however, none of the treated samples showed a perfect ferromagnetic coupling between the soft and hard phases.
