摘要：

Biomass has become, more and more popular energy source. It is easy to use in traditional power plant with relatively small investments in production system. The biomass is also acknowledge as a environmental friendly, cheap and sustainable fuel so its usage is growing rapidly in many EU countries however. The paper present the growing importance of biomass usage in energy production with special attention on quantitative comparable analysis as well as support system and biomass generated energy prices.
