摘要
Telehealth relies on the ability of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to maximize the quality of care provided remotely. Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) is a key part within telehealth that enables patient to use devices to measure vital signs and sends it to a healthcare professional. Patients usually have multiple devices to measure vital signs. Those devices might be manufactured by different providers. Hence, each device might utilize a different communication protocol and data standards. Now-a-days, there exist commercialized cloud platforms that deal with the integration of patient devices that are manufactured by the same provider. This work proposes a healthcare brokering services that enables the integration with existing cloud platforms to capture the data from the patient's devices. Moreover, the work also presents a way to model the patient's health condition to be remotely monitored and takes right decision at the right time. This work is validated by a prototype implementation.
