摘要
Going Green has become an increasingly topic for enterprise companies in this decade. One of the most important concerns in ICT today is how to sustain environment whereas keep running our operation. Green ICT has shed some light into these issues. However, currently there is not much appropriate Green ICT pattern for company evaluation. In this paper, we investigate and expand the concept of Green ICT by using Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reports as content analysis. To perform the experiments, we consider 45 CSR reports from largest IT companies as ranked by annual revenue from 2007-2011 (1). We proposed a framework for constructing Green ICT Ontology using 4 and 8 categories. We evaluated Green ICT Ontology with Green ICT framework and Green IT scheme by using seven criteria: IT Responsibility, Policy Regulation, Carbon Emission, Energy, Lifecycle, Supplier Participation and Communities. The results showed that Green ICT Ontology using 8 categories with sub-categories was able to cover 5 criteria same as Green IT scheme model. The improvement of Green ICT Ontology construction was based on using sub-categories and main categories appropriately.
